- Cook on low for 8 hrs or high for 4hrs.
- The last 20 minutes you can add canned or frozen veggies such and corn, peas, or green beans. Whatever you like.
Set the slow cooker to low and put in the onion, carrots and swede, then add the beef on top. Add the herbs, tomato ketchup, Worcestershire sauce (if using), and cornflour to the stock. Mix, then pour over the beef. Stir in the stock, Worcestershire sauce, sugar and tomato puree. Put the beef on top of the vegetables.
